PTFE Flying Masted Cone Structure Provides Unique look to Mexico Mall
An extension for shopping mall Liverpool Merida Galerias in Yucatan, Mexico, now features a new 20,000 sq.ft. PTFE masted cone structure and an ETFE single layer cone top covering. Included in the renovation is an indoor and heated restaurant area with a pleasant atmosphere different from the rest of the shopping center and ample premises for fashion shops. Birdair's scope includes design, fabrication, supply and installation of the PTFE membrane, steel, cables and clamping.

New Embassy Outer Envelope to Feature ETFE Facade Sails
The new US Embassy in London is expected to be completed in 2017 and with Birdair's help. The outer envelope of the building will feature approximately 399 single layer ETFE facade sails.

PTFE Membrane Set to Cover New Ice Rink for St. Louis Park Rec Center
Work is well underway on the new $8.5 million St. Louis Park Recreation Center. The transformation includes the two existing indoor ice rinks and the aquatic park, at 3700 Monterey Drive. The site will include a covered outdoor rink which can be used for hockey and skating four to five months out the year.
