Birdair, Inc. Awarded First TensothermTM Project at Dedmon Center at Radford University

Radford University, located in Radford, VA is in the process of recruiting students, redesigning courses, and renovating buildings for the 2008-2009 school year, and Birdair, Inc. has recently been awarded the project to install the roof of the campus’ sports and athletic facility, the Dedmon Center. The project is slated to begin in May 2008 as the majority of students are off-campus for the summer, and will be completed in January 2009, just in time for basketball season.

Another Birdair Structure Sustains Only Minor Damage from Brutal Weather

As the cleanup continues in Atlanta from the mid-March tornado that ripped through the city—leaving collapsed buildings and much rubble in its wake—inspections reveal that the Georgia Dome survived relatively unscathed after undergoing what the facility’s manager called a “focused Herculean team effort” by Birdair Inc., the specialty roofing contractor for lightweight long-span roofing systems and other tensile structures that that constructed the original roof on the Georgia Dome.

Birdair, Inc. Continues to Score with University of Phoenix Stadium

It has been more than a year since the innovative University of Phoenix stadium in  Glendale, AZ was commissioned.

In the year ahead, the stadium, home to the National Football League’s Arizona Cardinals, will host an increasing number of events, beginning with the Fiesta Bowl on January 2, 2008. In February, the venue will host Super Bowl XLII, and in March 2009, the NCAA Men’s Regional Basketball Tournament.

So, it’s a fair time to ask if the structure is meeting expectations.
