Birdair, Inc. Opens Engineering Office in Guadalajara, Mexico

Birdair, Inc., the leading specialty contractor of lightweight long-span roofing systems and tensile structures throughout the world, has added a new engineering office to a pre-existing sales office in Guadalajara, Mexico.

With the success of recently completed projects and future opportunities for growth in the Mexican region, Birdair opened an engineering office in Guadalajara in June 2008 to aid the sales office in project implementation.

Since 2005, Birdair has completed numerous projects in and around Mexico, including Galerias Cuernavaca, the Nuevo Vallarta Palace Hotel, Las Lomas Golf Club, Centro Sur Shopping Center, La Cuspide Shopping Center, Intermall Torreon Shopping Center and Galerias Vallarta Shopping Center.

In line with anticipated future advancement, the joint sales and engineering office is currently pursuing an ambitious business development promotion and marketing plan. The new engineering office maintains a seven-member staff.

Future projects include the engineering of a fabric membrane structure for the Via Acoxpa Shopping Center in Mexico City, slated for completion in 2009.
