Standing tall as one of Germany's towering landmarks, the Thyssen Krupp Test Tower in Rottweil, reaching an impressive height of 246 meters, boasts a distinctive exterior adorned with 15,900 square meters of PTFE-coated fiberglass mesh fabrics by Taiyo Europe, sister company of Birdair. This avant-garde vertical configuration posed a unique challenge, compelling our team to not only design and engineer the innovative façade but also to construct a fully TÜV-approved temporary installation platform—an engineering marvel in parallel. Recognizing our commitment to excellence, the project earned the prestigious 2019 International Achievement Award (IAA), a testament to our dedication to pushing the boundaries of architectural ingenuity.
