The Loma Linda VA Hospital is undergoing a transformation with the addition of 3 Cable Net Tensile Shade Structures by Birdair. These structures, featuring a scattered design of PTFE mesh panels, will offer much-needed shade for hospital patients and visitors alike. Each courtyard will undergo a complete retrofit, featuring a roof-level cable net structure adorned with approximately 38 PTFE mesh panels per courtyard, totaling 115 panels across all three courtyards. Birdair's responsibilities encompass the comprehensive scope of design, engineering, fabrication, and installation of the cable nets, PTFE mesh fabric, as well as the necessary clamping and hardware components.
