Iolani Lower School in Honolulu features a brand new courtyard and stage tensile canopy structure by the Birdair Team. The shade structure incorporates a series of PTFE triangular sails with a total combined surface area of 2,700 sq.ft. and a stage structure with solid PTFE fabric of approximately 1,000 sq.ft. Birdair's scope included design, fabrication, and installation of the PTFE-coated fiberglass fabric, supporting structural framing system, cables and end fittings and the clamping hardware.
