At the forefront of transforming this vision into reality stands Taiyo Europe, entrusted by J&P AVAX S.A. to bring a touch of innovation and excellence to the cityscape.

Tasked with realizing the covering of the artificial marvel, Taiyo Europe GmbH, a distinguished sister company to Birdair, assumed a pivotal role in engineering, producing, and installing a remarkable 6,000 square meters PVC mesh. This architectural membrane, a testament to precision and design finesse, seamlessly merges form and function, encapsulating Nouvel's visionary creation with grace and ingenuity.

The weight-bearing backbone of this monumental endeavor was a 60-ton steel structure, skillfully brought to life under the expertise of Taiyo Europe GmbH. The seamless integration of the PVC mesh and the robust steel structure not only serves a utilitarian purpose but elevates the aesthetics of the Stelios Ioannou Library, contributing to its status as one of Nicosia's most significant landmarks.
