Birdair designed and built the PTFE fabric upper deck canopies along McLane Stadium’s leading roof edge to provide lightweight, durable protection while preserving open-air sightlines. Completed in 2014, the translucent PTFE membrane enhances fan comfort with shade and weather protection without compromising natural light or the stadium’s iconic riverfront setting. Integrated into the stadium’s horseshoe-shaped design with 42,500 permanent seats, the canopy system complements the architecture while elevating the overall game-day experience.
